A SAD
NOTE
February started with a sad note as Valerie made a quick trip to the
states because her stepmother passed away. The glorious part is we know that she knew
Jesus. Valerie's father is now a widower for the second time and is 90 years
old.
SATURDAY MINISTRY FINISHES FIRST YEAR
ANNUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY
February also was our ANNUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY for FMI
Foundation here in Honduras. It was the time for re-election of the board of
directors to serve for the next 2 years.
Honduras has become very strict on non-profits and churches. 100's have lost their tax status over the last few years. It is good because we all need to be more
accountable. Sure has added a lot to
Valerie's workload since she does most of the accounting and preparation that
has to be also in Spanish.
A report on 8 prison visits with Pastor Jim Raymond will be
in the next newsletter.
Thanks from Jhon and
Valerie.
