2012 Year End Report

            The year is almost over.  God is faithful and still on the throne.  We are seeing some things begin to happen that we have felt God was working into our lives and ministry for some time. 

Our son Mario found 3 boys

that were not being cared for. They were living in the street, begging and selling plastic bottles for food.  One of the boys almost got killed by a bus.  Mario took them to the Boys’ Home near us where Mario spent 11 years before coming to live with us 16 years ago. Mario has his own family now but does not forget what God has done for him. The boys are now happy, carefree and safe. God cares about the little things we do.

Each week young men and women accept Christ and are baptized.

            The video Bible school in the prison is continuing every Friday for two hours.  Valerie has added another prison to her ministry to the ladies in the prison.  We have been reminded that it is the little things that make the biggest impact on peoples’ lives.  We are so very thankful to the in-prison ministries that are preaching and teaching daily. Prisoners and visitors receive Christ.

            We have helped some men we work with to start a bakery.  They are using one of the electric ovens we were given.  They are also making cupcakes with cake mixes we were given.  We have been blessed by local companies to have flour, yeast, sugar, baking powder, and other ingredients to help them get a start. 

  Christmas is the special time to remember and be thankful for what God as done in our lives.

            We are so thankful for health and of God's faithful provision.  At times, we let our minds wander instead of LIVE IN WONDER OF HIS FAITHFULNESS.  We plan Christmas activities for the street  children Valerie works with on Mondays at the soup kitchen and also the feeding centers.  We have not had gifts to give the last couple of years but we continue to believe we will receive so that we can give.

            Valerie is in charge of the children's Christmas program at the English speaking church where we attend.

WE SEND WISHES FOR A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY AND CHRISTMAS

that reflects the Son of God and the reason He came.  As this month reminds us to be thankful, let us remember to give thanks everyday for what God has provided and the blessings He sends our way.
