What a summer!

What a summer is right.  Audrey-Dawne and I landed in Tulsa, Ok on June 4th.  On getting off the airplane at Tulsa, I fell on the jetway.  What a way to make an entrance!  Scraped my arm a little, sure did have a bunch of people trying to help me up.  All it did to me was embarrass me.  Sister Lynda and her grandson, Adam, were waiting for us.  Hallelujah.  It was busy getting Audrey-Dawne ready for camp on Sunday.  She also was going to Bible School at one she goes to regularly.  This was her last year to go.  While she is in camp, my step-mother had a severe stroke that left her with left side paralysis.  We had a 3 day meeting in Altoona, Kansas, and then on to Effingham, Ill for a week.  We left the 1st of July for Kansas City, Mo, to fly out to MN for a week with our daughter.  My car quit 100 ft from the Hotel.  I spent time on the phone trying to get a mechanic for it while I was in MN.  Came back on the 7th and to cancel a meeting.  God found us a mechanic on Monday and it was fixed on Tuesday.  It needed a new fuel pump.  It took some more mechanic work in MO near our house with our regular mechanic to get it running right.  It also cost about 1500 dollars total. Everyday, I spent 3 hours traveling to spend time with my father and step-mother. She is in a nursing home at this point.  I came back to Honduras the 27th.  I was supposed to be in the 26th but my flight from Tulsa was delayed causing me to miss my flight to Honduras.  I did enjoy staying in a Hyatt Hotel though.  When we got home, I had left my cell phone at the Hotel and going through TSA in Tulsa, my computer got picked up and I came home with the wrong computer.  Praise the Lord, I will be getting my cell phone back this week or the first of next week.  The wrong computer is on its way back to its owner and hopefully mine will be back here by the middle of August, just getting someone to bring it in.  No matter what it looks like, God is still in control and we can still have peace.
