Jhon's week

Jhon returned to Grove on Friday night late.  He and a friend, Robin Tollison, left on Wednesday the 29th of February to head east.  They visited friends and churches in Illinois, Alabama, Louisiana, and Arkansas.  It was a week of renewing friendships and for Rob, making new friends.  Jhon was able to visit 3 churches that usually I visit.  They enjoyed seeing him again, especially since he has the testimony of recovering from the surgeries this last year.  Both of them were ready to be back home.  It was 8 days of travelling.  Many blessings were experienced.  The biggest blessing was being with friends.   God is so good.

A blessed week

Did you say a Happy Face?
Look what we did!
Mario and Valerie along with Audrey-Dawne were ministering to children and in the prison.  Sunday and Monday, we did Children's ministry.  We were in San Manuel and La Libertad with the children teaching with flannelgraph and puppets.  We did a craft using paper plates writing on them that I am full on joy because Jesus gives me life.  The children drew happy faces on them.

Listening to the story
Monday, we were the ministry Manos Unidos por Cristo working with the very poor children and whose parents mainly mothers are in the street.  We had 11 children.  Audrey-Dawne just got out of school.  She helped with the puppet skits both days and asked the questions.  We had papers for them to color.

Free on the inside if not physically
Friday, Valerie ministered to 12 women in the prison.  It was a blessed time. We were able to pray with the ladies.  Several women professed the baptism of the Holy Ghost but were not speaking in Tongues.  They were afraid to in the area we were at so we prayed that God would just speak to them as they prayed and sought him.  There is a lot of things that brings fear to these women.  They don't have the freedom that the men do.  Mario was visiting with some of the men from the church and in the maquilla.
